From Steel City to Silicon Systems

Here is my story penned down in my words (and with help of ChatGPT and Gemini too)

My name, Shruti, means 'listening.' In a world full of noise,
I’ve found that the best solutions, whether in code or in life,
come from listening closely to the patterns beneath the surface.
The Foundation: Bhilai Roots & Resilient Beginnings

Hailing from Bhilai, the "Steel City" of India, I grew up surrounded by the grit of industry, my loving parents and people who don't give up easily. My path hasn't been a straight line; it’s been a series of iterative loops and refinements.
Like any good algorithm, I’ve faced "bugs" and made mistakes in the past, but I view these not as failures, but as essential data points that made me better and helped me be where I am today.
They taught me resilience and refined my strong work ethic, proving that
the most robust systems are those that have been tested, debugged and redefined.

The Spark: Why Tech?

I was drawn to technology because it is the ultimate canvas for a creative thinker.
I met a Professor in Symbiosis, who introduced me to AI, Data and Robotics, which was a Spark.
For me, code is more than logic - it’s a melody of problem-solving.
As a woman in tech, I’ve embraced the role of a "logical explorer,"
often navigating spaces where my perspective and opinion is my greatest superpower.
I don't just want a seat at the table; I want to architect the table itself, hear everybody's opinion -
as the best products are built on inclusive and intelligent designs.

The Balance: Precision Meets Presence

While I am driven by algorithmic rigor and high-impact outcomes,
I am a firm believer in the harmony of work-life integration. I don’t just "grind"; I flow.
I love to work and be in flow state. Whether I’m optimizing deep learning models at Purdue or losing myself in the layers of electronic music, I maintain a sustainable performance.
I’ve learned that a sharp mind requires a soft place to land - which is why my social connections and my identity as a lover of life’s depth are non-negotiable. I have a charisma of my own.

The Social Layer: Listening & Leading

My approach to the "social side" of tech is rooted in empathetic leadership.
I believe the best engineers are those who listen to the users,
to the data, and to the community.
I’m here to build software that resonates,
creating a world where technology feels as natural as a favorite song.
